Political Studies Student’s Association of Airlangga University accomplished a lot in Indonesian Political Studies Student’s Association Congress that was held in Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh. The congress, which was held with the theme “Aceh’s Local Wisdom in the Frame of NKRI”, took place from September 28th until October 2nd 2017. The event was attended by 27 universities from across Indonesia. Political Studies Student’s Association of Airlangga University sent Bagos Balghi, Iga Ayu Rizka, Ikvin Rosyadi, Cici Jeny and Indra W as their delegates. On essay competition, the delegates managed to get 2nd place. Moreover, Airlangga University was appointed as the host of the next congress. “It is a privilege for us as the representation of Political Studies Student’s Association of Airlangga University to be able to make our alma mater proud. We are also honored to be the host of the next congress,” said Bagus, who is the head of Political Studies Student’s Association. This is the third congress, which main agenda is to create Deklarasi Keluarga Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Politik in Indonesia and to create region coordinator. The event was attended by 27 universities in Indonesia that has a political science major.
